This Privacy Policy explains how Candid Circle ("we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Platform.
What we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your email address, username, and date of birth. Creators additionally provide payment details (processed by our payment partner; we do not store full card numbers).
Age verification data. All users must verify they are 18 or older before accessing the Platform. See the Age Verification section below for details on what we collect and retain.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the Platform, including pages visited, content viewed, and interactions. This data helps us improve the service and detect misuse.
Communications. If you contact us, we retain those communications to resolve your inquiry and improve support.
Payment data. Subscription and transaction data is processed by our payment partner. We retain records of amounts, dates, and product identifiers for billing and tax purposes.
Age verification data
Because this Platform is restricted to adults, we require identity verification at registration. This process involves:
- Submission of a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or equivalent)
- Capture of a selfie for liveness verification
- Automated comparison by our verification provider
We do not store the raw images of your ID document after verification is complete. We retain a verification record (the outcome, the document type used, and a timestamp) linked to your account. This record is kept for the lifetime of your account plus 3 years to comply with legal and audit obligations. You may not delete this record without closing your account.
Our verification provider handles documents under their own privacy policy. We select providers that comply with applicable data protection laws.
How we use your data
- To operate and deliver the Platform
- To verify your age and comply with our legal obligations regarding adult content
- To process payments and pay creator commissions
- To send you account and service communications
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity
- To improve Platform features and performance
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data sharing
We share data only as needed to operate the Platform: with our payment processor, age verification provider, and infrastructure services. Each is bound by data processing agreements consistent with applicable law. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and non-legally-required data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

Cookies and tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand Platform usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This Platform is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn a user is under 18, we delete their account and associated data immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you by email and post the updated policy here with a new effective date.
